Eligibility Criteria for SET 2025
Age Limit: No age restriction.
Candidatess who qualefy can apply for Assistant Profesor posts within SLET membr states.
Educational Qualification:
Gneral/UR/EWS Candidates: Minimum 55% in Master’s degree or equivalnt.
SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD Candidates: Minimum 50% in Master’s degree or equivalent.
Candidates awaiting final year results can also apply.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus
SET 2025 consists of two papers with objective-type questions:
Paper I (General Aptitude)
Marks: 100 | Questions: 50 | Duration: 1 Hour (10:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
Focus: Teaching/research aptitude, reasoning, comprehension, general awareness
Paper II (Subject Knowledge)
Marks: 200 | Questions: 100 | Duration: 2 Hours (11:30 AM – 1:30 PM)
Focus: Subject-specific objective questions
No negative marking
Compensatory time for PWD candidate: 20 minutes per paper
