Age Limit
- General: 21–30 years as on 1st January 2026
- Category-wise Age Relaxation:

Educational Qualification
A candidate must have:
- Degree in Engineering from a recognized Indian University or Institution; OR
- Passed Sections A & B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); OR
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering from a recognized foreign university/college; OR
- Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); OR
- Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II & III/Sections A & B of the Aeronautical Society of India; OR
- Successfully cleared the Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London, conducted after November 1959.
