Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI in relevant trades from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutions.

- Three-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile Engineering or related disciplines.
- Engineering Degree in the above disciplines is also acceptable in place of Diploma.
