1. Supervisor

  • No of Posts: 5
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in History, Archaeology, Anthropology, Sanskrit, Assamese, Geography, Museology, or allied subjects.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in field research, heritage documentation, or cultural project coordination. Master’s degree preferred.

2. Documentation & Conservation Expert

  • Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in History, Sanskrit, Archaeology, Library & Information Science, Museology, Archival Studies, Art History, or Chemistry.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in manuscript documentation, archival work, or cultural heritage projects.
  • Other Skills: Ability to read old Assamese, Sanskrit, or Tai-Ahom scripts.
  • Age Limit: 35–55 years
  • Monthly Remuneration: ₹25,000/-

3. Field Investigator

  • No of Posts: 40
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in History, Sanskrit, Assamese, Anthropology, Archaeology, or Folklore.
  • Experience: Preference for candidates with experience in cultural documentation or community-based research.
  • Other Requirements: Must be willing to travel extensively across rural and remote areas.

4. Photographer

5. Assistant Conservator/Preservator

  • Educational Qualification: Master’s or Diploma in Conservation, Preservation, Museology, Art Conservation, Heritage Studies, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in manuscript or artwork conservation/preservation.
  • Preference: Experience with palm-leaf manuscripts, sanchi-pat, and indigenous materials.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
  • Monthly Remuneration: ₹30,000/-
